Tata Tele withdrawal may mean no CDMA spectrum auction

Tata Teleservices Ltd has withdrawn its application to participate in the sale of radiowaves to offer services using the CDMA technology platform in the 800 megahertz (MHz) band, in a move that may force the government to cancel the auction of CDMA spectrum.
