Long-standing doubts over the near-bankrupt Kingfisher Airline's (KFA) ability to maintain its flight schedule and its capability to meet safety standards finally forced the aviation ministry on Saturday to suspend its flying licence. The suspension order came after Kingfisher failed to convince the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) about its ability to ensure passenger safety.
