India still at risk of a ratings cut

India, despite the burst of policy reforms, still risks a ratings downgrade, said Standard and Poor’s (S&P), the international rating agency. “A downgrade is likely if the country’s economic growth prospects dim, its external position deteriorates, its political climate worsens, or fiscal reforms slow,” S&P said in a report released on Wednesday.
