It is extremely ironic that the Lotus Revolution in Egypt, which led to the exit of Hosni Mubarak, is likely to result in the elevation of Amr Moussa, a relic of the old regime, as the new President. Amr Moussa has emerged as the front-runner by playing the anti-Israel card and endorsing a Parliament led by radical Islamists, including both Ikhwanis and Salafis.
