2G scam: PAC frowns on Vahanvati’s ‘advice’ to Raja

The draft report of the Public Accounts Committee probing the 2G scam has said it was "intriguing" that then Solicitor-General GE Vahanvati directly advised the Telecom Ministry in 2008, on the issue of spectrum licenses, despite the Law Ministry suggesting that it be referred to an Empowered Group of Ministers.
