Pro-Pranab tilt in changed Mulayam stance

While no headway was made on Presidential nominee in UPA on Friday, the Congress anxiously watched the parleys between Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee even as Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee seemed to be emerging as a favourite among the UPA allies.
