A day after differences cropped up between the BJP and Janata Dal (United) on  Presidential election, NDA convener Sharad Yadav met Leader of Opposition Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday to plug the  fissures in Opposition ranks. The meeting took place at  the initiative  of NDA chairman LK Advani who felt that partners of the principal Opposition group should not appear divided on Presidential election and instead scout for friends.
