Centre's 'support' to Barelvis sparks furore

The Kashmir-based Karvan-e-Islam chairman Maulvi Ghulam Rasool Hami on Wednesday asked the Centre and the state government to remove the confusion created by media reports that state agencies were supporting the Barelvi group of Kashmiri Muslims financially, and by providing government officials who attend functions organized by Barelvis in the valley.
