Trinamool Congress is holding its cards close to its chest on the presidential election issue even as several names are doing the rounds as possible candidates for the top post. Later this week, Trinamool chief Mamata Banerjee will arrive in Delhi ostensibly for the May 5 meeting of chief ministers and the Centre on the proposed National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC). But high on her agenda are two meetings ahead of that, one with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the other with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Her party functionaries are trying to arrange both the meetings by Friday.
