Democracy as give take

The Election Commission's drive to check payments to members of legislative assemblies for votes in Rajya Sabha election sounds like policing our elected representatives. However, the corrupting influence of money in electoral politics is a matter of concern. This is not for the first time that money has changed hands in Rajya Sabha elections.
