The BJP on Monday indicated it would consider Karnataka strongman BS Yeddyurappa’s demand for  his reinstatement as Chief Minister to tackle a full-blown crisis that stared the party in the face in the southern State. On a day Yeddyurappa fielded a rebel in the Rajya Sabha contest against the official BJP nominee and numbers of his supporting MLAs and Ministers, camping at a resort at the outskirts of Bangalore swelled to 65, BJP chief Nitin Gadkari and senior leader Arun Jaitley tried to reach out to the rebel leader. The party core group is expected to meet in Delhi soon to decide Yeddyurappa’s fate.
