82% polling in J&K 2nd phase

Undeterred by the killing of a woman candidate by militants on Friday, people turned out in large numbers on Sunday to vote in Jammu and Kashmir, which recorded 82 per cent polling in the second phase of the panchayat elections, which were being held in the State after a gap of 10 years.
