Didi changes plans after PM calls

It took a flurry of phone calls on Sunday, first from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh requesting a meeting and then by finance minister Pranab Mukherjee, for West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee to scrap her planned visit to attend the swearing-in ceremonies of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and Uttar Pradesh's new incumbent Akhilesh Yadav.
