The outcome of the five State Assembly polls and unpredictability of Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee will snatch away from the Congress power to dictate the choice for the Presidential election in June. President  Pratibha Patil’s term ends in July this year, and the Congress does not have much time to start the search for a candidate, who could be accepted to its allies.
