BSP loses clout for RS; Maya may pitch for Delhi

LUCKNOW: The post-election scenario in Uttar Pradesh has changed drastically and the BSP is all set to lose its clout weeks before the forthcoming elections for the 10 Rajya Sabha seats, due on April 2. The BSP, which had 219 seats in the outgoing assembly, held the highest of five of these 10 vacancies. However, with the election debacle and its strength down to 80, its Rajya Sabha quota is now down to two.
