Enough’s enough

Given the impassioned case Congress veterans had made for the Public Accounts Committee as the appropriate site for an inquiry into telecom policy, the party’s current exertions are more than just a bit disingenuous. Indeed, the UPA government was content to sacrifice the entire winter session of Parliament to resist the opposition’s demand for a joint parliamentary committee after the CAG’s findings on irregularities in the allocation of 2G spectrum.
