Lalu Prasad, Jagannath Mishra charged in fodder scam

PATNA: Ghosts from the past returned to haunt two former Bihar chief ministers, RJD's Lalu Prasad and Congress's Jagannath Mishra, on Thursday when the two were charged with conspiring to withdraw Rs 46 lakh from Banka and Bhagalpur treasuries through fake bills between 1994 and 1996 in what became known as the Rs 900-crore fodder scam.
