In a snub to J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the Congress has rejected the resignation of its senior leader and Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed. In the wake of allegations that he illegally helped his son pass the Class X state board examination, Peerzada had sent his resignation to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
