The stage is all set for a pitched legal battle in the Supreme Court on Friday as Army chief General VK Singh and the Government have hardened their stance on Singh’s date of birth. While the Army chief filed a fresh set of documents on Wednesday to support his contention, the Government is not likely to withdraw its December 30 order despite specific directions by the apex court on February 3.
