BMC poll: Cong quells rebellion within ranks

In an effort to quell wide-spread rebellion within its ranks ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) poll, the Congress on Wednesday suspended its Mumbai unit general secretary Ajit Sawant and another party functionary Vidyarthi Singh for making “baseless” allegations against the party leadership.
