PMO role in 2G scam not negligence but complicity

The BJP continued its attack on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday saying the role of his office in the 2G scam was not a case of negligence but that of complicity. Hailing Supreme Court’s Tuesday observation on grant of sanction for prosecution of public servants within a time frame, the Opposition party also sought to know from the PM what action he would take against officers who sat for 16 months on Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy’s request for sanction to prosecute then Telecom Minister A Raja.
