The rule of law was upheld by the Supreme Court on Thursday. It was triple witching day with three crucial judgments rattled off one after the other by Justices GS Singhvi and A K Ganguly. The first one was by itself a landmark judgment - invalidating all the 123 licences doled out by A Raja in January 2008 on a first come first served basis at 2001 prices.
