BJP leader Arun Jaitley on Friday accused the Congress of double-speak on the 2008 Batla House encounter. In Chandigarh to oversee the party's poll campaign in Punjab, Jaitley said the encounter was an exemplary action which broke the backbone of the terror outfit, Indian Mujahideen. Yet, the Congress did not believe it was genuine. Jaitley slammed the difference of opinions between Union home minister P Chidambaram and Digvijay Singh about the encounter and called it Congress' doublespeak.
