Experts: Ansari could have extended RS sitting

While the government claimed that the debate on the Lokpal Bill couldn’t have gone beyond midnight on Thursday since the session had been “extended only for three days which ended at midnight”, legal experts were unanimous in their opinion that there was nothing to stop the Rajya Sabha sitting being extended even into the next year.
