Phoney Bill will lead to Constitutional havoc

In a speech that was heard with rapt attention, Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley punched the Government hard for bringing a “phoney” and Constitutionally vulnerable Lokpal Bill that was both “unworkable” and “absurd.” Setting the stage for an intimated debate on the Bill, the BJP leader delivered an hour-long speech that focused on specific inadequacies in the legislation and warned the Government that the legislation will create a “Constitutional havoc”.
