Poll gains force SP, BSP U-turn

SP and BSP stumped observers by deciding to vote against the Lokpal Bill barely two days after their walkout rescued the government in the Lok Sabha, raising questions on what had changed so fast to turn them against Congress. The Centre was banking on neutrality of UP outfits to push Lokpal in the Upper House where it is way short of majority mark and their stand sent Congress managers into a tizzy on Thursday.
