UPA has egg on its face, Bill in deep freeze after RS midnight farce

Seems the Lokpal Bill is an idea whose time hasn’t come yet. In the backdrop of high drama in the Rajya Sabha this midnight during which one RJD MP tore a copy of the Lokpal and the Lokayuktas Bill, 2011, a helpless government was forced to use its only option of an escape route, deciding to fight the battle another day.
