It's 'touch-and-go' in Rajya Sabha

On the eve of the RS taking up the Lokpal Bill, the Congress described the situation as a "touch-and-go", with the curious situation of both the ruling party and opposition BJP banking on the same parties to get through their position. While Congress wants the bill to be passed, BJP is looking to get the House to vote for a version of Lokpal which, with the proposal to vest more powers in the anti-graft watchdog, it claims will be a huge improvement on the "weak" Lokpal bill cleared by Lok Sabha.
