BJP revives Atal mystique to woo Brahmins in UP

In the war for Brahmin votes, Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be the surprise contender in the Uttar Pradesh ring, with BJP set to resurrect its faded mascot in the coming assembly polls. On Thursday, the saffron brass will release a collection of the master orator's speeches, highlighting a six-decade career which reached its apogee with his taking the reins of the country in 1998. The speeches will be part of the campaign material that will hit the poll-bound state where BJP is vying to regain its lost glory.
