Rahul fights Yadav with SP turncoats

The strategist is a former Samajwadi Party leader, the foot soldiers one-time Mulayam Singh Yadav acolytes. And their target, the Yadav chieftain himself. In the Mulayam stronghold of Sambhal-Badaun, Congress is fighting with imported weapons, with three of the four candidates for whom the party canvassed on Tuesday being turncoats mentored by five-term SP MP Salim Sherwani. As Rahul started his second leg of UP campaign, seeking votes on development and a strong Muslim card, the size of crowds and their rapt attention raised hopes even among in-house cynics.
