Congress’s arrogance shines through Kapil Sibal

It seems strange but it is true that once upon a time Kapil Sibal was a friend. He was bright, articulate (which he still is) but questioning, critical and fairly honest in his assessment of government policy. But that was in the days when he did not have Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s ear, for as soon as he crept into the coterie and became Union minister he began working hard to retain the goodies. So, like a good lawyer he opened his mouth wide, put his foot into it any number of times, but continued to lash out at the people at large and specifically at civil society representatives.
