Lokpal report has no credibility: Team Anna

A fresh confrontation between the government and Team Anna looked imminent on Friday, with the civil society faction seizing upon the notes of dissent by members of Parliament's standing committee on Lokpal to question the sanctity of the report as a guideline for defining powers and jurisdiction of the proposed anti-graft watchdog. Team Anna's Arvind Kejriwal fired the salvo on a day when it turned out that 17 of the 30 members of the standing committee on Lokpal had submitted notes of dissent on one issue or the other. "Standing committee had 30 members. Two never attended, 16 dissented.
