Control inflation or go: Sushma to Govt

Asking the government to get rid of “hatasha aur nirasha (despondency and disappointment)” for its failure to contain food inflation, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj today said that if the government cannot find a way out, it should relinquish power for the BJP to “show the way”. Dismissing the latest food inflation figure that came down from 11.41 per cent on October 29 to 6.6 per cent, Swaraj said that it has not brought any relief to the aam admi. “Fact is that inflation has risen because of your wrong policies... because of corruption in the government. In one year, the CAG found out six scams,” she said during a discussion on price rise in the Lok Sabha today.
