Team Anna rejects Singhvi panel’s Lokpal provisions

Team Anna on Wednesday charged the Congress with undermining Parliament by going against the "sense of House" to include lower bureaucracy and Citizens' Charter in the ambit of the Lokpal. While Team Anna also claimed that the Standing Committee proposed dividing CBI into three parts which will cripple the investigating agency,  the CBI itself expressed its apprehensions that its effectiveness will be severely impaired by proposed move to entrust the conduct of Preliminary Enquiry (PE) with the Lokpal.
