UPA ministers have made the nation bleed
The Congress spokespersons, apologist is perhaps a more apt term, think they have a way with words. An expensive, and till recently exclusive, education abroad, some believe arms them much better to silence critics than those who haven’t been to privilege born. What else explains Salman Khurshid’s description of P Chidambaram as a ‘cutting edge’ minister? Leaving no one in any doubt, he added, “He is one of the best we have.” How can the Prime Minister dispense with such a gifted man — for all seasons and reasons? The beleaguered home minister hasn’t exactly covered himself with glory in his current innings. First, there was the avoidable unpleasantness about a disputed electoral victory (that is subject of an election petition), then his handling of terrorist attacks and Naxal violence has undermined the nation’s confidence in his much-touted ‘exceptional’ competence.
