26/11-Three years on: Security at sea

A patrolling speedboat rode up close to our fishing trawler and then veered off. That was the closest we came to being noticed. We were a team of The Sunday Express—two reporters and a photographer—and we had set sail on a fishing trawler from the Porbandar coast. According to the system currently in place, passengers are not permitted on fishing trawlers where the identity of each fisherman is supposed to be checked.
