Advani natural choice for PM post: Rajnath

The leadership issue in the BJP continued to remain in focus with sections in the party, including former president Rajnath Singh, on Tuesday reaffirming senior leader LK Advani’s status as the natural choice for the Prime Minister’s post from the BJP. “He is the natural choice for the PM post. When I read in the papers about Advani being in the reckoning for PM post, I feel pained. Will a person of Advani’s stature ever present his claim for Prime Ministership?” Rajnath Singh told a party gathering at Advani’s residence while lauding his role in building the party during a function held to celebrate his 85th birthday.
