Why our media is anti-people

In my opinion, a large section of the Indian media (particularly the electronic media) does not serve the interest of the people; in fact, some of it is positively anti-people. There are three major defects in the Indian media which I would like to highlight. First, the media often diverts the attention of the people from the real issues to non-issues.
