Gujarat sues Guv for skirting CM

In a controversial move, Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal unilaterally appointed a retired Justice of the Gujarat High Court RA Mehta as the Lokayukta of the State without taking Chief Minister Narendra Modi into confidence. The State Government quickly moved the High Court seeking quashing of the gubernatorial order.
