Once a staid auditor, CAG turns assertive

Soon after the contents of the CAG report indicting the Delhi government and the PMO for letting Suresh Kalmadi control preparations for the Commonwealth Games became known, government appeared to be bracing for another blow from the auditor: its report on the civil aviation ministry, particularly the purchase of aircraft for Air India and Indian Airlines.
