Narendra Modi set to sweep Gujarat yet again

Narendra Modi's star continues to be on the rise in Gujarat. Riding on the back of his success as an honest, pro-development leader, the Gujarat chief minister will lead the BJP back to power in the assembly polls slated for December, according to an India Today Group-ORG opinion poll. The party is projected to win 128 seats under Modi's watch, a gain of 11 seats from 2007 even though its vote share is likely to drop a bit, down marginally to 47 per cent as opposed to 49 per cent in 2007.
