Indian-American named as alternate IMF director

President Barack Obama has nominated Indian-American Sunil Sabharwal to a key post as US Alternate Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. An alumnus of the Ohio State University and the London Business School, Sabharwal has been the Chairman of the Board of Ogone, a European ecommerce payment services company, from 2011 to 2013.
