Lankan Navy attacks, chases Rameswaram fishermen

A couple of days after the Sri Lankan government released all the 98 Tamil Nadu fishermen as “goodwill gesture” in return for India's stance in Geneva, the Sri Lankan Navy has allegedly chased away Rameswaram fishermen after assaulting them with beer bottles and damaged a boat and nets, when they were fishing in the high seas.
