Pak court indicts Musharraf for treason
A special court here on Monday indicted former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf in the treason case he is facing for imposing emergency during his rule in 2007. Judge Tahira Safdar read out five charges against Musharraf, which he defiantly rejected pleading "not guilty". The former army chief, who appeared before the court for the first time in three months, faces death penalty or life imprisonment if convicted in the case.
