MLAs, MPs quit but AP govt is safe

Andhra Pradesh plunged into a political crisis on Monday with 79 legislators from Telangana slipping in their resignations to browbeat the Centre to concede their demand for a separate state. The day started with 37 Congress MLAs, including 11 ministers, putting in their papers.
