Reddy lone ranger against largesse to RIL

Science & Technology Minister Jaipal Reddy was the only Minister to protest the Cabinet’s largesse to Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) by doubling gas price. In the Thursday’s meeting of Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), Reddy contended that seeking bank guarantee from RIL to provide increased price of gas was not a tenable one.
