Telecom Commission wants base spectrum price raised by up to 25%

The inter-ministerial Telecom Commission has recommended that the reserve price for auction of airwaves in the prized 900 Mhz and 1800 Mhz bands be raised by up to 25 per cent. The government can now plan for the auction in this fiscal to earn at least Rs 11,000 crore.
