The Romney campaign on Wednesday said India-US ties have been in a retreat on President Barack Obama’s watch. And, if elected, Mitt Romney would restore them to their full potential. But the campaign cited no retreats to back up its charge. “I have seen under the current administration (a) little bit of retreat, little bit of backsliding,” said Mitchell Reiss, a top Romney advisor.
