PMO hand in withholding forensic report on CD: Prashant Bhushan -

New Delhi, December 05, 2011 - Team Anna member Prashant Bhushan on Monday dragged the Prime Minister's Office into the controversial CD issue involving his father Shanti Bhushan alleging that it was behind withholding a forensic report which said it was doctored. His remarks came following a RTI reply that the forensic examination by Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Chandigarh shows that the CD was "doctored", contradicting findings of two other such tests.

Police seeks legal opinion on complaint against team Anna -
New Delhi, Nov 25 - The Delhi Police today told a court here that it has sought legal opinion on a complaint against Anna Hazare and his team, seeking their prosecution for allegedly dishonouring the national flag during their anti-corruption protests here in August. In its status report to Metropolitan Magistrate Tyagita Singh, police said it has examined the complaint lodged against Team Anna and has sent the same to its prosecution branch for its legal opinion.

Team Anna proposes delinking citizen charter from Lokpal with rider -
New Delhi, Nov 22 - Team Anna today expressed its willingness to de-link citizen's charter from the proposed anti-corruption ombudsman provided that a separate bill on the lines of the one in Uttarakhand be introduced in Parliament along with the Lokpal Bill. The activists led by Anna Hazare have been demanding that citizen's charter should be part of the Lokpal Bill and they provided two options for the government -- implement the resolution of Parliament and include the charter in Lokpal or bring a strong grievance redressal bill.

Team Anna accuses govt of reducing Lokpal to empty tin box -
New Delhi, Nov 21 - Accusing the government of reducing the proposed Lokpal to an "empty tin box with no powers", Team Anna today said they were surprised at the move to exclude Citizen's Charter and lower bureaucracy from the ambit of the ombudsman, contrary to a Parliament resolution. "The government proposes to remove CBI, judiciary, citizen charter, whistle blower protection, Group C and Group D employees and CBI from Lokpal jurisdiction. Wouldn't that reduce Lokpal to an empty tin box with no powers and functions" a Team Anna statement said.

Agnivesh willing to rejoin Anna's movement -
New Delhi, Nov 19 - Social activist Swami Agnivesh, who fell out with Anna Hazare, says he is willing to rejoin the anti-corruption movement led by him provided they agree, though he had faced "lot of insults" during his stint as a core member of Team Anna. "I will not let my ego come in the way. I am willing to rejoin Team Anna. But I will not tolerate any hanky-panky," he told India TV in an interview, according to a release from the television channel.

People with clean image to be inducted in Team: Hazare -
Ralegan Siddhi, Nov 13 - With Team Anna members coming under attack, Anna Hazare today said the core committee will be expanded but a "sharp eye" will be kept on new members so that people with only clean background are part of the movement. The 74-year-old activist said he will not pick just any one for the committee and a background check will be conducted before inducting new members.
