New Delhi, Jul 22 - Pranab Mukherjee will be sworn in as the 13th President of the country on July 25. Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia will administer the oath to Mukherjee at a ceremony in the Central Hall of Parliament House at 1100 hrs on Wednesday.

New Delhi, July 19 - Pranab Mukherjee is likely to garner over 88 per cent of the 11,140 vote value from 80 MPs and MLAs of Delhi in the Presidential poll on Thursday for which elaborate arrangements have been made in the capital. Seventy Delhi MLAs and 10 MPs, including three Rajya Sabha members, can vote in Vidhan Sabha and Parliament House complex respectively.

Kolkata, Jul 9 - BJP today alleged that Congress is misusing power to influence voting in the presidential elections and claimed the results will be surprising nevertheless. "Some states are being given packages. That should not be used as a means to influence them. New Delhi, Jul 8 - All the votes in Kerala, Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim are likely to go in favour of UPA nominee Pranab Mukherjee in the Presidential poll, leaving a blank for Opposition candidate P A Sangma. The entire bunch of political parties, which have MPs and MLAs from these states, have officially announced support for Mukherjee though two parties CPI and RSP, which have lawmakers in Kerala and Tripura, have decided to abstain from voting.
